It's expensive for a basic device but it hasn't broken yet and I don't think it will and I haven't compared it to others. But the benefit is really incredible, when you need to keep the light low it's absolutely perfect because you can bend and twist it. It's not too bright, which is good at night, people won't know anyone is using the computer. You can't expect this little device to be an airport halogen, it's ridiculous. It has two light sources, which is great if you need something brighter, but one light will do. Also, once one light burns out, you can use another light, cool. The person(s) who designed this really thought it through, but it's expensive for what he does.
