Update: This was my case when there were dead zones on the screen not responding to the stylus. The point was that it has magnets holding it closed and where the magnets lined up with the screen the S Pen didn't work. Now that I have this issue resolved I know the unit is PERFECT and I am very happy with my refurbished purchase! First Review: My tablet looked cosmetically new, but there are areas on the screen (at least three separate quarter-sized dots on the screen) that the S Pen can't write on the screen. But my finger works in those areas, so the problem must be in the tablet itself. I have an old Note 4 S pen and it doesn't write in the same areas either. I knew, of course, that I was buying a refurbished model, but I didn't realize it was going to be that bad. It's completely useless to me if I can't write in full screen. It will return.
