Review on Smraza Raspberry Touchscreen Heatsinks Raspbian by Zachary Ester

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good body and screen.

I received this case from Smraza to test on my Raspberry Pi 4 and I have to say it's an easy case that you can put together in less than 15 minutes. Attach the heatsinks to the Raspberry, insert the four standoffs into the holes on the Raspberry Pi board, then secure with the four nuts. Then attach the posts to the bottom panel of the case and attach the four spacers to the corners of the case. Connecting the screen to the Raspberry combines the screen port with the GPIO and connects the HDMI port. It is so easy. The screen rests on the USB and Ethernet housings on one side and a piece of acrylic on the other. The acrylic piece fits into two slots in the bottom and top plates so it doesn't move. The last step is to screw the top plate to the spacers and that's it; You have a fully featured screen for your PI. If you use the 4 inch screen that comes with the box, you only have one screen to view like you would on a regular monitor. If you want a touchscreen, you need to install drivers for it. To get the driver, you need to go to the website and follow the instructions there. But don't worry, the steps are simple and will give you all the commands you need to do it. They also include instructions on how to calibrate the screen. The only thing that annoyed me a little is that the second HDMI port stopped working after installing the driver, but since Smraza doesn't make a screen or driver I can't fault them for that. (Maybe the guys behind the driver will fix that soon.) All in all, this is a great case with good resolution for working and watching your favorite YouTube videos at a great price.
