Makes a perfect cup of coffee. The fit and finish is a bit sloppy as it had scratches and machining marks and a few bits of something in the vacuum sealed area making it a big fancy rattle. 50 oz (1.479 L) is a bit of an exaggeration, but it's not too far from the truth to piss me off. However, I bought this because it's big enough to almost fill my Stanley 1.4 QT (1.32L) thermos for a day on the river camping/fishing, so I'm sure it'll pick up a few more dents pretty quickly and will get scratches . At this price I'm very happy with it as I value functionality over fashion and that's what makes coffee great. I gave it 3 stars because I am happy with it but there is room for improvement and it would be nice if they put the exact capacity in the description.
