Easy install, works great
My first problem was with a 2012 Silverado: I had to shake the key in the cylinder for 30 seconds to get it The instructions were easy. The cylinder replacement appeared identical to the original part I took out. I applied a very thin coat of lithium grease to the cylinder and toggle switches and wiped off the excess (the instructions didn't say this). Reprogrammed exactly as instructed, both keys started the car the first time. From start to finish in just 15 minutes! Great price and so easy, do it yourself and save some money.
