First time using tape for making things on the router table. All in all, it worked as expected. I made 12 inserts for my table saw out of 1/2" Birch ply. The tape seemed stickier on the unpapered side. I say this because when I pulled the pieces apart, the tape stayed on the template side where it was first applied. This turned out nice as I reused the tape for three more copies. However, I found it started to shift on the fourth, ruining it on the cut. That was OK, as I now had a guide for how soon the tape would get clogged up with dust from the wood pores and lose grip. Tip: CLEAN off all dust from the parts. If the wood has stain or oil on it that is not absolutely totally dried, forget it. The bond will not be there. Keep it well away from wood laminate edges, it can pull them up.
