Review on πŸŒ€ Efficient Handheld Epoxy Mixer for Bubble-Free Resin Mixing - Perfect for Tumblers, Molds, Glazes, and Paint! (Includes 4 Paddle Attachments) by Gary Perry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

stay in 2-7 oz range of resin and it's good

This has it's place in my craft room but it is not for all resin projects. It really depends on how much your mixing up.If you make tiny amounts of resin, say under 2 ozs, the paddle is above the resin amount and it's movement sucks in air and causes more bubbles then you've ever seen. On the other hand, I tried it with 32oz of resin and it could not get through the job. The handle was getting warm, my finger was sore from holding down the button, etc. When I used it for amounts around 1 cup, it worked fine.WARNING.do not lift it up to get sides or top.if the paddle hits air, you're screwed. You do get four paddles but they're all the same as far as I can tell. It would be really nice if they ranged in sizes for those tiny amounts that need to be made for jewelry and such. I wipe the paddles down and then spray with alcohol to clean them and that's working well.I've used mine now probably a total of half an hour on one charge and it's going strong. Charging was quick and easy but they recommend you don't keep it plugged in longer than 5 hours so you do have to go back and unplug it.

Pros
  • Modeling Tools
Cons
  • My mixer doesn’t even work. I charged it and it still doesn’t work. Not happy with this at all.
