After using this mic stand for a few weeks it feels solid and very functional. I sing in nursing homes 4 times a week and lug my equipment around every day, always keeping my instruments and speakers covered, padded and protected in cases and bags. But the microphone stand is too long to fit in a suitcase or bag. So it's driving outside in the back seat and is holding up well so far. Assembly and disassembly are quick and easy. The clip holds the microphone in place. Let's see how long this lasts.
