Works well but no better

Basic microphone stand. Works well but I know there are better stands out there. This is perhaps the most economical route. The stand feels flimsy and there is no counterweight. The stem isn't secure enough to keep it from rotating, at least with the iPad on it, but it will snap in enough for the mic. In general I am satisfied as the price corresponds to the quality. This stand should stand up to everyday use and not break the bank.

GREAT mic stand, don't forget the weight of the mic

Great mic stand! Very heavy feeling with alternating use! Depending on the application and microphone used, I would recommend adding a counterweight/ground weight to the tripod legs. My stand is to the right of my desk and the boom positions the mic directly in front of my computer. If I move it about 30 degrees it could fall under the weight of my mic. Not a big problem or a big problem, just a bit annoying at times

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Great price

work so far.

After using this mic stand for a few weeks it feels solid and very functional. I sing in nursing homes 4 times a week and lug my equipment around every day, always keeping my instruments and speakers covered, padded and protected in cases and bags. But the microphone stand is too long to fit in a suitcase or bag. So it's driving outside in the back seat and is holding up well so far. Assembly and disassembly are quick and easy. The clip holds the microphone in place. Let's see how long this…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Only available in black

It works for home. fits microphones and accessories

but I wouldn't use it on stage. Works well enough for home recording or rehearsals, but no more. The brackets are not strong enough to support the average weight of the microphone for an extended period of time. And after more than ten uses, the arrow begins to sag under its own weight because the cocking mechanism begins to wear out. I gave it four stars because the price was right (I bought it at half price) and it works well right out of the box, but not for long.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not the best

*European mic stand

Pretty good value for money. However, the 3 star rating is because it is a European sized stand with a threaded adapter for US mic clips. This is incredibly annoying because the adapter comes loose with the microphone clip every time it is removed and you have to pry the adapter out of the clip with a screwdriver (turning the stand only works for a short time). Works great if you use the same mic/save the same clip, but personally I'd spend twice as much to avoid this problem.

  • GOLS certified

This will destroy your microphone

Legs are adjustable but have no crank to tighten or prevent them from moving. They were fine with the right angles for a while, but they just gave up and my $100 blue Yeti mic was destroyed. The mic extension was only half done which means the stand shouldn't even have been very onerous, but I can't say for sure with my poor mic. Unfortunately, the reviews suggest this is one of the best/strongest stands on the Revain, meaning you should shop elsewhere if you want one that will hold the Blue…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
