Smell is one of our most subjective senses... what smells good to one may be unpleasant to another. So, to be as objective as possible, the "smell" of fresh air freshener is okay...but the effect in my truck is cloyingly sweet, like getting in a cab with too much air freshener. If you have a bad smell that you can't get rid of from your car this may help, but if you just want to freshen up your car or truck this may not be the way to go.
