We replaced Big Boss 8 sq. oval pressure cooker. We had two big bosses and both failed after a few years. So we decided to try this one. We've had it for a few months now and we use it every week or so. That's exactly what we wanted - 8 liters. oval plate with the possibility of browning. We like the oval design of the 8 liter hob because it's not as tall as the round 8 liter hob. stove and placed under cabinets. It has a browning feature - it's called sautéing/roasting, and it's great for browning burgers, beef stew, or whatever so you don't have to do it in a separate pan. I have all the necessary features and presets for many different dishes that Big Boss didn't have. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to work with it because the instructions were a bit unclear, but after a few uses we figured it out. Hope it doesn't last more than a few years.
