Mine is about a month old. It will not seal. The pressure valve must be forcibly lifted because the pressure does not stay. Very bad product

The best appliance in the world

This is my favorite kitchen appliance! I love that it's shaped like my old slow cooker and I have a pressure cooker function too! This product is highly recommended!

Will not be pressured.

I adjusted the steam valve and made sure it was in the closed position. I have checked the gasket, it is reliable and seals. The problem is that the vapor is not retained. You can hear the instant pot almost pressurize, and then the pot makes a click and steam starts coming out. The screen shows "CLOSE LID" even though the lid is closed and the valve is in the closed position. I'm still so frustrated I just wasted meat trying to use this. Hope the replacement works. We replaced Big Boss 8 sq. oval pressure cooker. We had two big bosses and both failed after a few years. So we decided to try this one. We've had it for a few months now and we use it every week or so. That's exactly what we wanted - 8 liters. oval plate with the possibility of browning. Pretty cool! for small appliances

UPDATE: Almost from day one I had problems with the handle on the jar lid. It never fitted the first time, then it streaked, then I tried super glue but it didn't work. I went to their website and spoke to the support team. They said no problem send a confirmation email. I got an email saying they wanted the numbers from the chef's plate and a picture of the problem. I sent both and they confirmed they would send a replacement knob/screw assembly.
