Review on Prodyne FI 3 Infusion Flavor Pitcher by Jaleel Pruitt

I love the concept of this infusion jar, but it has two major flaws that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. The non-round lid cannot be rotated to "seal" the spout when you remove it. I have to remember to leave a few inches of splashing space on top of the pitcher so I don't spill water on the fridge, floor, and/or myself when I take it out. The lid does not unscrew, allowing you to pour water directly onto the infusion ingredients when filling the jar - the preferred method of extracting the aroma. Instead, the infusion hose is screwed into the base of the lid and must either be dipped into an already full jug of water or held at an angle when filling the jug so that the water at least hits the infusion ingredients as it is added. .
