Compared to our Dyson cordless vacuum, this Greenworks vacuum outperforms in almost every category. The battery lasts around 17-18 minutes of power/suction, which seems good for most of my uses. It's good that the battery has a 3-year guarantee. Our Dyson battery died about a year after we had it, just after the warranty ran out for about a month, and a new battery was almost the same as buying a new vacuum. At least you know it's covered for 3 years. Keep receipts, 3 years is a long time for a battery like this. Lots of power and suction, the medium to full power is almost too much for things like carpets. The first vacuum I've owned that works great on carpets and hard floors passed the corner flake test, which most vacuums I've tested failed. Easy to empty bagless container. Overall I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner. It's light, but not as light as the Dyson, but with a 3 year battery warranty I'd choose it over the Dyson any day.
