I have just received this collar so it is not fair to judge the long life and wear and tear the collar will withstand. It's nylon so I think it will hold up well. We walk dogs on harnesses. We only bought this collar as a means of identification. This is a nice collar but it is embroidered in the wrong place to allow the collar to be adjusted. By this I mean that if we tightened the collar, the buckle would be at the center of important information. This negates the function. I don't want to wait another week for my collar to be changed so I'll live with a free collar. I don't know if I would buy from this seller again.
