We bought two black Matrix helmets with MIPS - and we liked both. The turn signals work perfectly every time you press the button for the first time. Firmware updated reliably the first time. The helmets fit our iPhones perfectly. Unlike many products that require a lot of work to get going, they worked great right out of the box. Battery life is decent, especially in any of the power saving modes (3-6 hours or more depending on the design). I love the headlight on the front of the helmet and have it flash during the day for better visibility. The helmets are a bit heavy but we had no problem riding 60 miles in 80-90 degrees. If you value elegant product design that "just works" these are some of the most beautiful and efficient smart helmets out there. We paired them with Aftershockz bone conduction headphones for high quality sound while cycling down dirt tracks.
