Review on Matte Bronze LED Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan - Harbor Breeze Merrimack II 52-in with Light Kit (5-Blade) by Richard Muncy

The fan is very easy to install and looks good. They are fairly quiet, have pleasant looking bulbs that go very well with the lamp's "blown" glass design. The only downside I give to this unit is that the motor is slightly larger, forcing me to use a hidden mount instead of the included bottom bar. I can say this is a bit unusual as I ordered a different set of fans which look pretty much the same but of course my wife pointed out that it wasn't exactly what she wanted. I installed another very similar bottom shaft fan and had no headroom issues. After being informed of my error, I ordered these fans to fix my error and found that once the installation was complete, the entire unit was uncomfortably close to my head, forcing me to use the hidden mount that came with it. The only real difference between the fan types is that the fan you're looking at through the Revain has the motor about 3 inches lower and the bracket another 3 or so: that half foot makes everything seem too narrow. I actually bought three but they're new to me so I have no idea as to durability, they're mounted on a porch screen.
