This dust collector extension was designed for other Dewalt products but fits their 20V 7-1/4" circular saw. I mounted it in the dust outlet area of my saw and found that the information I was looking for was pretty accurate, wouldn't be a complete solution but much better than without it. It attaches with little difficulty but leaves an open connection on one side. I found it to fit one of the vacuum hose fittings I have there, but noticed upon testing that the hole in the saw guard should be blocked to reduce the amount of dust and allow the vacuum to collect it. Then I saw that a decent percentage of the dust was still flying through the front of the shield and I was able to block out much of it by extending the top front of the shield from a piece of PVC electrical wire I had. Is it worth it? Only If You Loved This The Ich-Saw is heavy and feels solid enough to do most of the jobs you would expect it to do. This all goes much further than if this port expander works alone, but then most outdoor applications probably won't need it at all. LET THE DUST FLY!
