I called Muller and told him how bad this chopper was and how poorly designed it was. They immediately refunded my money, but I get to keep choppers! Simply put, it doesn't work as safely and accurately as the old-fashioned choppers with the engine underneath. This unit has a motor on top that must be lifted to turn off and stop the motor. It is inconvenient to use and dangerous. The blade has a plastic whisk that snaps onto the top of the blade shaft. As this assembly spins, the assembly oscillates at such high speeds that the edges of the blade actually scratch the inside of the plastic bowl. Unsafe process when mixing microscopic plastic parts with food. I had 3 of my neighbors try it and they all agreed to throw it away!
