Love these coffee mugs while they last. I bought four of these mugs and broke two within the first three weeks. I hand wash them. They can get a bit slippery. In some cases, the glass slipped, hit the sink and shattered. A small drop, maybe a foot from my hands to the bottom of the sink. Now I slowly wash them one at a time over an empty sink, keeping my hands low to reduce the risk of falling if I slip. It's been almost two months since I last broke one. I really, really love her. The 8oz size is perfect and fits my Delonghi superautomatic espresso maker perfectly. It's beautiful to see the layers of coffee and foam in the cup. Holds up well (when dry) and feels good on the lips. I use one every day and find the mug enhances my coffee drinking experience. (Isn't that a pretentious joke!) However, I'm reluctant to order more because I have to be very careful when washing. Where they improve my user experience, they put me in a state of controlled terror when I wash them. Furnished. For people like me I say buy at your own risk.
