This PatPet 680p collar is a big step up from other PatPet collars I've used. The remote has been greatly improved, including a slide switch on the side to choose which collar you're connected to. I used to have a 320 that only had one button and you had to see the screen on it to be sure. This would lead to a possible delay in correction, and the moment passes where it would be useful. This remote comes with a wrist strap and the previous one had a belt clip which I miss. This remote is better for a more natural movement to press the right button/switch. In my experience, battery life is about the same on both. These devices are much less bulky for a dog and simply look more aesthetically pleasing. On this device, one collar has reflective stitching and the other does not. Overall I think this is a big upgrade over the previous product, with much better controls and features. I definitely recommend this model.
