We bought this a few months ago to use downstairs where it's always a bit colder in winter. We have natural gas and using a fireplace is expensive. It's always warmer upstairs when we turn up the thermostat in addition to the fat gas bills. This product was great. My wife uses it every night and most of the day. It heats up quickly and warms up the room well even with vaulted ceilings. We have a toddler who always seems to bump into things and this block has been knocked over a couple of times. I stop immediately when I get knocked down and in our experience I feel safe. This is a great product at an affordable price.
