When I opened the box I was happy to see that they had an extra battery. I bought this with the plan to use it on my trip in a few days, but after charging the flashlight I practiced using selfies and set it up on my phone so it wasn't last second . Good thing I did because the manual says to hold for 2 seconds and watch for the blue light to come on. Ok, done and nothing. Then I just held the button down and there was still no blue light. He took out the remote control and went to change the battery, put the battery in both ways, thinking that he did something wrong, after the second time it didn't work. As I hold the button I wait for a new Bluetooth device to show up on my phone and the only thing that shows up is my laptop. I left a message with customer service but to be honest by the time they reply I will already be on a journey where I should have used this selfie stick. I will return it as soon as I come back but now I have to find it in 2 days.
