Review on Topeak Mini 6 Folding Tool - Compact 2.6X 1.1x0.7-Inch, in Sleek Black Shade by James Cowan

Great tool but not corrosion resistant

If you need to use a multi tool when traveling, you won't enjoy the drive. Thus, no tool will make the event more enjoyable. The Topeak Mini 6 is great for what it is: light, small and with all the tools you need. Sure, it doesn't have tire levers or a chain tool, but the latter is really unnecessary. (I've never needed a chain tool on the road, so I don't see a need to carry a larger, heavier tool to have something I won't be using.) Smaller tools typically use metal tire levers. This will corrupt your drives. Small plastic tire levers tend to break easily (see Topeak Hexus). I like using the Mini 6 with Park's regular tire levers. The only thing that bothers me is that the materials are not corrosion resistant. I've used two Mini 6 tools before and the screws holding it together end up rusting. The tools and the frame are fine, only the screws are rusting. Maybe they should offer a $20 version with titanium screws to make it even lighter.
