I had two cute scales that let me down because the display stopped working so the fact that these scales are waterproof makes a difference! It's a very sexy device, a bit like an iPad but without the fingerprint-resistant nano-coating on the black glass (although I'm sure that would be overpriced for something in this price range). When it comes to accuracy, I always check my scale with calibration weights the first time I use it, and this model has 500g, 200g, 100g, and 5g calibration weights with gram accuracy right after measured before unpacking! He can also reach almost an incredible 33 pounds. And the display is nice and bright, which was another issue I had with my last one, which was LCD only with no backlight. Unless they suddenly break during use, I find these inexpensive tiny scales to be just perfect!
