Review on Auto Meter 8444 Factory Pyrometer by Jeff Alradwan

Installed in 6.0 PowerStroke. Quality meter, very smooth readings and looks good. Easy installation, just take your time drilling and tapping the manifold. Uses an R-drill and a 1/8-27 NPT tap to install the probe. One small modification I had to make to install my gauge was to trim the extra threads from the back of the gauge as they were too long and hitting the back. my plastic case before it was fully installed. No problem, I just found small nuts with the right thread size and used the included silver threaded nuts as spacers between the gauge and the rear plastic brace. Overall length shortened by approximately 1/2 inch. Firmly.
