Advantages: - After 3 days in the water there was no more plastic taste. It wasn't in the sun and around 80F. You may get different results in the sun or at higher temperatures. In particular, I do not recommend leaving plastic items for food and water in the sun. I received two extra caps and one extra carabiner. There have to be grooves, you know, like any other screw cap. The caps should be a little tighter than you would tighten a water or soda bottle. Otherwise, slow leakage will occur. They are difficult to dry completely because water can get stuck in the folds, so to speak. Try blowing on the bottle like you would a balloon to expand it fully and that should help it dry faster.
