Review on 🪓 WD401 Large Wood Hone Strop - Ideal for Superior Sharpening by Kristina Fleming

This grinder is a nice solid addition to my sharpening tool collection. Here are a few important points: 1. This is not a leather grinder. It has a rubber or silicone surface that is perfectly flat. This should actually help with the polishing process as it is actually flatter than leather as it has very little texture. The lack of texture is a little odd to me. Does not affect the performance of honing stones. However, it doesn't work that well with honing powder, at least in my previous usage.2. He's bigger than I thought. Approximately 14" long including handle and 3" wide.3. One side is rounded for sharpening curved blades or the concave side of carved chisels.4. The end has a 45 degree bevel that could potentially be useful for sharpening prongs. (Seems like it's incredibly boring)
