Review on 🔭 Celestron Inspire 80AZ Refractor Telescope with Smartphone Adapter - Blue (22402) by Jason Lockwood

Just what I need for life on the bay to see dolphins and manatees up close after landing. It comes with two eyepiece magnifications, both are quite powerful but can really use 30mm to go with 20 and 10mm for an even faster locate response. Reading the reviews it seems like people accidentally buy this to get a closer look at planets. I don't think that's the purpose for this device. With a wide field of view, portability and easy setup, it is ideal for ground observation and quick object location. The telescoping carriage mount doesn't have a stop on the carriage and the two thumbscrews that hold it in place are too long and dig into the mount. This works great, but these are the only bugs that are so easy to fix and should be corrected. I still gave it 5 stars as there is nothing quite like the way I use it, more like a super target spotter.
