The description says "lead free" but I suspected something was wrong so I tested for lead (also from Revain). It turned out to contain lead and/or other heavy metals. To make sure it's not a fluke, we compared it to ceramic, which we know is lead-free. It turns out that the test works very well. In the end I would recommend not buying it and I am sending it back for a refund.
