Keeps doors open but also locked!
Not only are they used to hold doors open, they are also great for traveling and locking your hotel room door from the inside. Slide it down, press lightly to latch, then try to open the door. It doesn't move. ATTENTION: If you buy these to have the doors CLOSED from the inside, note that they will not work if the door has a sill on the floor. However, if there is nothing under the closed door but the floor (e.g. in hotel rooms where the door does not go directly out but into an interior corridor), they work fine.
