Failed at wrong time

We were trying to move medical equipment upstairs at our clinic in preparation for Hurricane Irma, it was hanging on door hinges and one of them broke! It still works as a door attachment method but for the price these things cost I am very disappointed, they will have to go back to the drawing board for improvement!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works perfectly! on doorstop

Perfectly keeps that pesky garage door open. Fire regulations require the door to close automatically. It's such a pain trying to get things out of the car. This gadget serves its purpose. I didn't think I would like the neon color but now I'm glad. It's easy to find for people like me who don't bring it back to the same place every time.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Concealable

Hotel doorstop best for office furniture and lighting

We travel all over the world. Had the hotel given our card to another guest, opened the door and tried to enter our room early in the morning. I was lucky enough to wake up and meet her at the door. Found information about them online. There were good reviews so I ordered. They work and now I'm calm. I ordered some for my family. Recommend. I think everyone should have security.

Great doorstop! - it's good that it's included 2

Easy to use and will hold up the heaviest doors in my workplace. Exactly what I was looking for. *Edit* After several uses, this one broke when used in a door hinge. The other one is still fine but looks chewed up. Using it on the floor as a traditional doorstop doesn't work very well either. The rubber grip is only on one side, so you have to be careful which side you put it on. Even then, depending on the floor covering, it still slips. Works, but not as I thought.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The list will be long.

User-friendly: doorstop

These little wedges keep the office door open very well. This is a heavy door, so let's use it on hinges, otherwise it's likely to slide on the slippery floor. I've seen complaints of them cracking and I can totally understand how this could have happened, especially with a heavy door. If you put it on the hinge and just drop the door, it will flip sideways slightly, weakening it and eventually breaking. When you let go of the door, hold it until it wedges and doesn't.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Everything great

Universal option for holding different doors

I've bought about 50 of these in the last 5 years. They are very handy and won't damage the bottom of the doors like a wooden wedge as they fit over the door hinge (or the top of the door frame) to hold them open. It is also versatile and can be used as a wedge under a door. The building I manage is full of heavy fire doors. Our housekeepers use them to brace doors. They wear out with heavy use (most of them last about a year with daily use). However, we keep buying more as we haven't found a…

Keeps doors open but also locked!

Not only are they used to hold doors open, they are also great for traveling and locking your hotel room door from the inside. Slide it down, press lightly to latch, then try to open the door. It doesn't move. ATTENTION: If you buy these to have the doors CLOSED from the inside, note that they will not work if the door has a sill on the floor. However, if there is nothing under the closed door but the floor (e.g. in hotel rooms where the door does not go directly out but into an interior…

Good Hinge Stopper: Furniture Fittings

I've tried them on various doors in both hinge mode and floor wedge mode and they've held up great. They stick well to the loops and stay in place. For heavy industrial doors that are pulled like a lever, even if only in strong winds, I'm convinced they can give, so I skipped this testing and added a structural timber wedge as a backing to my evacuation kits. high. They don't work well as floor wedges on house floors or smooth concrete. I would describe the gum as "oily" rather than "sticky". I
