Review on Nokia 6300 4G: Unlocked Dual SIM with WiFi Hotspot, Social Apps, Google Maps, and Assistant (White) by Jasmit Insha ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product that I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

In general, the phone is not so bad, calls, writes. But for 5k you expect that at least there will be no freezes in the menu. I regret a little that I bought it. I don’t think that a phone with KaiOS from another manufacturer would work worse, but here I paid like for Nokia, and the user experience was like from INOI. I really hope that the next ate (it seems to be scheduled for the beginning of 2022) will relieve at least some of the problems. And so it’s a great dialer if you need to escape from all the informational garbage, but the work requires a constantly working whatsapp.

Pros
  • I have been using it for about a month, I bought it in Aliexpress. In general, the attitude towards the phone is rather negative, to be honest. The following are the pros and cons, much is extremely subjective. Button, Simple, Small in size compared to a modern smartphone, Perfectly copes with the main function - to make and receive calls, Synchronization with google account, Has an app store Light, You can buy spare batteries and change if necessary.
Cons
  • Wildly slow in everything: Unblock - loads the desktop, open a notebook - every time it synchronizes with Google and, of course, loads again. You go into the menu - a long load, scroll through without waiting until it loads - it starts to load even longer. You print SMS - well, you guess. uploads everywhere and anytime. and sometimes 5-10 seconds. The network often drops (with a working phone and good signal reception, the Internet simply does not work), it distributes wi-fi terribly (any equipment connected to it starts to behave the same way as it . downloads). The app store is just some kind of bedlam. There are few applications (which was expected), half of them duplicate functions that are already built into the system (it’s not clear to me why this is needed), most of the applications are crammed with ads so much that you can’t even wait for the application itself (therefore, everything I downloaded was deleted in just a couple of minutes). Uninstallable games from gameloft. and only the snake is installed, the rest is just shortcuts for downloading. there are already nine of them on the menu, including the snake. And the snake, by the way, is rubbish. The ability to remove Google Assistant is also not enough. He still does not know 2022. The screen is disappointing. in 2022 I would like a slightly higher resolution, on my Siemens CX70 it was exactly the same (except for the viewing angles. here they are very good). Only one function key can be remapped. partly solved by linking applications and contacts to numbers, but it's still not clear why they can't be made really functional. the "down" key does not answer at all, the camera cannot be removed from the screen. Why the hell to shove a camera into it is not clear. I coped with the QR code in perfect lighting from 8-9 times. And the page, due to another fallout of 4g, could not be opened. Remember the perfectly working T9 from Nokia? They didn't bring him here. Entering messages is hard. And yes, it must be separately enabled in the input settings.

Its pros: The device is number one in its segment. Different cons: GPS does not work correctly, the complete absence of applications. There is no opera browser.

For the money, it's just a great machine. Of course, it would also be possible to put a 2 megapixel camera, as on older models, but I still don’t need either 2 megapixels or vga.
