Review on Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner: Unleash Full Potential with iOS & Android, Torque & OBD Fusion Support by Oliver Phelps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Two nice use cases for the VeePeak Bluetooth OBD II diagnostic scanner.

I bought a VeePeak Bluetooth OBD II Auto Diagnostic Scan Tool for my husband who saw it recommended on at least one BMW forum. I bought the AOS app "BimmerCode" (which VeePeak has a good discount on) from the Google Play Store because it was the source that other BMW and Android owners referred to in their reviews, comments, and questions. (I don't know if there is such a thing on the Revain Android app store.) My husband has used the VeePeak Bluetooth OBD II diagnostic scan tool with the BimmerCode app on two specific occasions: 1) Mine's earlier BMW fog lights Man turned properly turned on (ie right turn fog light came on etc.) while the computer program on his current BMW was not initialized to work with the fog lights when turning, although the ability to tune was present. (Possibly as a recessive gene that didn't show up/turn on.) 2) My husband also used it to turn off the *driver's seat belt warning*. Rather, it is simply plugged into the OBD port when needed. The BimmerCode app was just as easy to download. So plain and simple, both for the device installation and for the software. And voila! . In addition, they are easy to implement, which gives a good effect!. Incidentally #1: This version of BimmerCode was even compatible with the Galaxy S7. BTW #2: The VeePeak OBD II diagnostic scanner comes with a very nice storage/carrying case, with a clever mesh pocket inside. The folding instructions we received are in English and German, but they don't fit in your pocket. But you can "cut and paste" them from the VeePeak website (probably in other languages), reduce the font size, etc. BTW #3: for those who haven't heard that word - BMW may have the nickname "Bimmer", when it comes to a car, while the "Beamer" is actually only reserved for *motorcycles*. "Just spread the gospel like the rest of the world is saying.
