Just received the unit a few days ago and immediately started work on a 2003 Chevy truck that I was having problems with. The unit seems to work the same as the Tech 2 I borrowed a while back, but a little easier to use on a Chevy. I've also hooked it up to my Ford and Jeep but the Jeep is only from a 2000 factory so there isn't much info on it other than the transmission and it's limited to the engine because it's a stock. So far I am very satisfied with the device. It reads a lot more than my regular old reader and the bi-directional aspect and plotting really make it a great tool. Pretty easy to use and intuitive. Mine came with Android 7.0 and it's a good case and packaging. He was even able to read obscure Quadraster codes. It'll be a great tool, and the size and lack of cords make it easy to use while on the go. You still need to know how to interpret the results, but this gives you a lot more tools than a reader. Just a saving on crank retraining will cover most of the cost. It's worth it.
