This is a good 3 season jacket for colder climes and a suitable 4 season jacket where winter temperatures never fall below freezing. We bought it for climates where the temperature typically hits forty degrees Fahrenheit and I think it will be fine for that. Let's assume we haven't used it and my rating is based on looking at the jacket and comparing it to our other jackets. I pre-buy a size in the off-season to fit next year.
