I have two 9mm 1/2"-28 gauge barrels and this die will not fit either of them. It makes about 1/8 turn before stopping completely on both, although the Muzzle brake on one thread is ok with both Cheap junk, don't waste your time buying.

I bought this because of lots of good reviews but I have 5 holes, a 1/2-28 die and the threads fit not to the thread alignment tool. The threads were too tight. I wouldn't mind a rough finish, I just wanted a stamp that would work, but it doesn't. I'm sending it back and need to buy something else.

I bought this die for AR15 barrel threads. The barrel had a muzzle brake which, when removed, had deposits in the threads flattening about six (6) threads about halfway up. After screwing the die on with the die holder and some Kroil oil, I screwed the die onto all the threads, unscrewed and did it a second time. The die worked well and cut threads sharply and accurately. It definitely cleared up what would have been a useless trunk. The new muzzle brake went in with absolutely no problems…
