I like reasons I haven't even thought of. Not only is it the right style for my kitchen, but the wide but low profile holds my tall items, and because it's wide and low I can have things from all directions! Also, the lack of a handle on the counter looks a lot better and gives me some much-needed space. Easy to clean, even in the dishwasher.
