Great educational toy to teach your little one to be PATIENT

Bought this for my 2.5 year old who is just about to knock things off his feet. He builds things to destroy later. I thought this toy might teach him the opposite as you have to stack things and not try to knock them over. We tried it this morning and so far so good! He knew building it and keeping it from falling was essential, but it didn't last that long. After accidentally falling he started tripping animals after putting on a couple but this was just our first try and it's a complete job. I think this will DEFINITELY teach him patience. Patience aside, I love that the child has to figure out the best way to stack the animals so they don't fall on the uneven, swaying surface of the barn. Animals vary in size (since a cow is actually larger than a chicken), so it's important to have a rough idea of size. I also use this to teach my son animal names and that's an added bonus. The toy is fully painted with no bare wood areas, making it bright, colorful and attractive. The details are smooth and well done. Maybe he could be a bit bigger, but he's also great the way he is. There hasn't been any paint chipping yet, although today they hit our parquet floors several times. Great value for money. I saw another similar one with a pirate theme that I plan to buy later if he really likes this one.
