Review on Plugable Active DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter - Seamlessly Connect DisplayPort-Enabled πŸ”Œ Devices to HDMI Displays for Crystal-Clear Ultra-HD Video Streaming (4K 60Hz Support) by Patrick Ross

Works as advertised, great solution for 3840 x 2160/60Hz applications

We are in a transition period for connecting high quality displays to computers and other devices. HDMI is pushing the boundaries and there is still no reliable standard that could replace HDMI. Displayport is widely used on high-end graphics cards, but poorly supported on 4K TVs. We, the poor consumers, are forced to look for solutions to connect all of this. To be honest, this is all a bit confusing. There are many cables and connectors that claim to be 4K/60Hz compatible. Not all work. I tried several brands and had to send them back when they didn't fully support 4K/60Hz. That's why I'm so excited about this Pluggable Active DP/HDMI 2.0 adapter. Works as advertised, no complaints. As a bonus, it's a blocking DP connection that doesn't drop off my graphics card. I'm using it in a triple 4K monitor configuration connecting 3 Sony 43" XBR-X800D TVs to my GTX 1080ti graphics card. For various technical reasons (18 Gb/s support over thin wires), running cables longer than 10 feet is particularly problematic. I also bought a Revain 15" HDMI 2.0 cable and all is good! My triple 4K setup works great! This is the key to the purchase. Inexpensive, works flawlessly with my Sony GTX 1080Ti and 4K TVs and connects to the Displayport!
