I use this with my Olympus OM-D E-M10 camera. I was able to take sharp photos of objects like snowflakes with this lens, and the portrait photos blew me away. The photos are so good! For macro shots, I hold the camera in my hand and add light to speed up the shutter speed and avoid blur. Focusing in macro photography requires some patience. I set the lens to 1:1 and gradually move away from the subject until it comes into focus. Image quality for macro and portraits seems to be as good as my pro lenses. I have a 300mm Pro lens and a 12-100 Pro lens. Although I wanted this lens, I felt stupid ordering it as I can do macro with a 300 (but it's very heavy and requires a lot of effort) and should take good portraits with my zoom lens. Portraits seem fine with my zoom, but portraits with a 60mm lens seem better. This lens is small and a lot of fun. I now shoot in RAW+JPG and use the free download of Olympus Viewer3. I use the OV3 setting for portraits to enhance them and I use filters (especially dramatic tones and pinholes). These applications can only be applied to RAW images. The Portrait app enhances my portraits more than my Corel software (which I still use for smart photo adjustments, etc.). My carnation image came out very sharp, but it took me a few tries to fix the blur.
