Review on TomTom START 50M: Your Ultimate 5-Inch GPS Navigator with Lifetime Maps by Mido Taylor

I have a TomTom 50-M with LifeTime USA map updates that I bought 4 1/2 years ago. I have just received an email from TomTom saying the product is EOL (End of Life) and NO MORE maps will be updated for devices older than (5) five years and you have a NEW model with need to buy more memory to support the new software. . The first TomTom representative in Mumbai, India openly lied to me and said that I could go to the website and update the map. After I went to the website with the device connected to the computer, the second representative in Mumbai, India did not confirm that the first representative had lied to me, but he did say that I responded to the email announcing the free Upgrades would have to wait which should be released until the end. Month. He then sent me numerous emails and did not confirm that the update would be available by the end of January 2018, only that future updates would be available. He just wanted to get rid of me. I will not buy another product from a company that takes my money, offers LifeTime Map updates, and then declines and says you need to buy a new model. I also do not recommend you to do business with this company. If TomTom doesn't provide a free comparative update by the end of January 2018, my state's Attorney General will take this matter very seriously.
