I think the product is 5 microns not 1 micron.
I ordered 1 micron filters, they came as 5 micron filters. I need filters anyway, but please consider when ordering this filter. I noticed it late as I used one today. The filters are of good quality and work well as a 5 micron sediment filter. 1 micron catches other things, 5 micron doesn't. I would have returned them but there was a situation where we had dug a well and needed filters.
