Pros: * Works instantly. No hassle, no problem. Cons: * Faded colors. I'm comparing this monitor to two of my two Asus VE248s connected to the same graphics card. The ViewSonic comes closest to black when it's anthracite, and colors typically lack saturation.* Terrible handling. I had read the reviews beforehand and thought I knew what to expect, but I was wrong. The controls themselves are bad enough, but the power indicator sits between the up and down buttons and feels like another button, which only adds to the confusion.* The sound is terrible. I expected the built-in speakers to be poor. You sound even worse than I expected. I have an old set of Ultra U12-40771 netbook speakers and the sound is worse on this monitor. Not only that, but when I try to use my headphones, I have to turn the volume up FULLY in Windows before the audio level is acceptable.
