The first one I got didn't flicker well - the replacement would not turn on - it doesn't have a 'button' so it's impossible to adjust anything.

This stunning monitor features all types of HD inputs including HDMI, MHL, Display Port and DVI. Unfortunately, I have at least one computer that only has a VGA output. I expected great products from ViewSonic and this 24 inch LED monitor did not disappoint. I used it to replace an outdated 24" Dell monitor and the difference between day and night is clear. It's lighter, brighter and much sharper than Dell's. Highly recommended.

The lack of an HDMI port is a real killer. I just didn't read this paragraph carefully enough because I couldn't imagine a monitor of this quality without an HDMI output.

Great monitor, the only issue I had was that the 'switches' (like on/off) are hard to notice or see. I had to read the manual to find out where they are. Actually, it's nothing to worry about.

I'm going to remove the elephant in the room right in front of me. If you use this monitor for graphics work, don't do this. It uses a TN panel, so colors and color shifts prevent accurate color reproduction. If you plan on using it for gaming, you might want to think twice. Only if you're using a DisplayPort 1.2a connection and a fairly powerful graphics card (and I'm guessing a GTX 970 equivalent would be minimal) can you even get 60fps at full resolution in-game. I have a problem with USB ports. I need to disconnect/reconnect the USB headphones connected to this monitor when they stop working or I hear a loud popping noise. Reinstalling the USB drivers did not help. Now I connect my headphones directly to the USB ports of the CPU and this problem is gone.

The output is excellent - bright and readable. The controls are difficult to use. The label is not visible without a flashlight and even then the contact switches have no feedback.

My husband has used ViewSonic before and thought I would be very happy with their large monitor. I had an old Samsung that was good when it was new but now it's broken, the pixels are messed up and that's not good. I put it in by myself, I also unpacked it by myself. This monitor has the worst color shift angle issue I've seen in years of photo and video editing. I'm a professional editor and I know it's a TFT monitor, but the offset is terrible. A little to the left everything gets a green tint, a little down everything becomes more contrasty. Always choose IPS for any type of color work.

Very disappointed with this monitor. Bright colors blur and merge. Our artists prefer their Mac movie screens. Increasing the contrast makes the problem worse. The interface is idiotic. Instead of the "Menu" and "Select" buttons are "1" and "2" except they're swapped, so it's actually "2" and then "1" but the OSD doesn't match, so you end up with it and clink in the picture setting (which you have to use because of the crappy color out of the box).
