These monitors are not very good. They last about 6 months before DisplayPort stops working. Their HDMI ports aren't much better (they add about 3 months to the lifespan). I bought 3 (paid 599 at the time). Viewsonic replaced all 3 in the last year but this will void the warranty. After 6 months the new ones stop working and for now they don't do anything about it. This is an excellent monitor, bright and super sharp. One screw to install the stand is very simple. I'll admit that it's almost impossible to actually see the control buttons, but once you see them, they work perfectly. It seems much easier on the eyes. Nice bright clear monitor. Like the extra height in resolution. I don't take photos or anything so I'm easy to please, but this monitor works great. I've been a fan of ViewSonic since the early 90's and they never disappoint. speakers on this shit. I wish they had stopped putting speakers in the first place, not worth it, but that's not why I bought them, hence five stars.
