Medium is perfect. A bit disappointed that he doesn't have space to attach a leash but his collar fits on it just fine. It was 42 degrees this morning when we tried outside. He was sweet and comforting and didn't tremble when we were done. Overall a great purchase. I was a bit scared of the length because it was 3 inches shorter than his actual back length, but it's just the right length. It's not too tight and not too loose. He can't stretch his legs out on his own, which he does in a raincoat, because it's too loose on his chest. My cat is 13 pounds, back length is 15 inches, chest is 14 inches.
