I bought this for the limited space in our home office. When it arrived I was skeptical that such a fancy package (easily under five pounds) would fit in my rather old 26-inch Magnavox. The packaging was neat, with most of the tools and equipment needed (except of course a drill and electronic stud finder), although I used my own anyway. Installation was exceptionally easy and straightforward, although the attached diagrams could have been a little less vague. Three screws aligned vertically on the same stud did the trick - they were long enough that I highly recommend a drill rather than a hand screwdriver. The mounting plate attaches directly to the back of my TV and from there slides easily directly over the mounting bracket. A one man install takes less than 20 minutes. The only tricky part was tightening the screw that kept my TV from sagging - I guess because the vintage flat panel increased the carrying capacity. If f folds out of its corner when I need to connect AV cables to it, the mounting plate isn't even a big obstacle for that. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the mount can support the weight of the TV and that I can move it around if needed. I just don't know what to do with all the extra hardware they've bundled with other TV models other than leave it in my toolbox for a rainy day.
