Review on Premium Chrome Razor Chop Trunk Mount Latches for Harley Touring FL 1997-2008 – King Tour Pack Pak by Chad Cypert

I bought this bracket to get rid of most of the rear mounting points and clean up the fender area. I read reviews of poor quality fasteners and loose rivets, but decided to give it a try anyway. I wasn't worried about the latches as I was planning to replace them with better locks but I will say the ones that came with them were complete rubbish. Just something to keep in mind if you don't plan on changing them. They were loose enough that I could push them out with my hand. I used epoxy to secure them and keep the hole from expanding over time. Taking away the bad hardware, this is a good mount. It fits snugly with the front attachment points. It's made of fairly durable metal and the assembly is of a good standard. It has multiple holes to move the travel backpack forward or backward depending on the situation. You will need the original horseshoe mount to complete the installation. I ended up painting mine black to match the finish of this mount. I would recommend this mount if you want to take care of the latches and compression nuts first.
