They are inexpensive and burn out easily (kids have found that they can handle the voltage.
This is the cheapest lightbulb set I could find for a science experiment , which requires a flashlight-sized bulb.They're cheap and burn out easily (kids found they could handle the voltage of 3D batteries, but more of them burn out instantly), but they all worked if they were bought and do a good job at low voltage.
